Cosmo Sarson is best known for his giant mural of Breakdancing Jesus in Bristol. Situated opposite Banksy’s ‘Mild Mild West’ piece it made international headlines when it was unveiled to the press. Another painting of Jesus breakdancing in front of the pope went viral without ever being exhibited and the motif has now become a trademark.
His skills as a scenic artist are in demand in the film industry and his most recent films include Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers:Age of Ultron and James Bond: Spectre.
Earlier in 2015 he had a solo show at London’s Pure Evil gallery and has just shown at Art Basel Miami.
A classically trained fine artist Cosmo’s work combines historical themes with an urban twist.
